Most Expats who race in Thailand try the 3k retro class, the class in broken down into other classes. The Expats are quite open and more than welcome new people to join in. If you feel you need other races there are plenty of chances to drive in a few other race meetings as well. But for now we will talk about the cheaper end of motor sport. 1) NA normally aspirated cars, This is the fastest class these cars beat the turbos hands down and It is no longer a cheap class to go in the winning cars are costing one million baht
2) Euro cars (BMW, Ford, Fiat) the are no engine restrictions so be prepared to race against GAVIN in his V8 BMW
3) Turbo Cars , Superchargers and Turbos are in this small class. It is not as fast as the top 2 and you get a trophy for turning up, as there are trophies to 5th place and there are only 3 to 5 cars in the class.
4) 1600 cars , This is a new class that replaced the original class, that had 2 to4 people in it. This would be a great starter class for lighter people, and a cheap class at this time, but the numbers and cost will grow with time.
